Pastabilities - City of Syracuse

I brought my daughter to Syracuse for freshman orientation. I had read great things about Pastabilites so decided to give it a try. SO glad we did! The fresh pasta was amazing with delicious sauces, fun atmoshere and wonderful host and wait staff. We had a terrific time which helped to set the tone for a wonderful 2 day stay. Will definitely be back when I drop her off in August!!

My wife and I came in for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very cordial and responsive. The food was awesome and making small changes for my wife didn't cause any delays. It's been one of our favorite places for going on 30 years.

We were looking forward to dining here. I am from Syracuse and remembered enjoying many meals at Pastabilities. Sadly, the meal and experience fell very short. It was at least 10 minutes before our server came to our table. The Rose wine we ordered was the worst we ever had (come on, Pastas, put a decent Rose on your menu). The bread was okay but didn't seem all that fresh. Thx biggest disappointment was the chicken riggies. The sauce was okay, but the chicken was over cooked and tough and not really edible. The night before, we dined at the The York, which is right around the corner. We had an excellent meal, with great service and cocktails. We will go there again, but won't go back to Pastabilities.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was exquisite. I would highly recommend Pastabilities if you're looking for a great place to eat and would like your experience to be a friendly one. Thank you.

Honestly we loved it! The only thing was towards the end of our dinner it got very very busy (around 8:30ish) and so we were waiting close to 20 minutes after paying the bill for the dessert we had ordered to go (close to 9). This wasn't necessarily a knock against the service Dan was great! but more so regarding staffing, there were only I think 2 servers covering the back area where we were seated.
