Contribuisci feedbackWe were flying jet lay and hungry when they arrived in ciudad juarez. a quick 'tripadvisor' search revealed near our hotel 'mariscos javics ', so it was not a brains. we ordered and shared half dozens of freshly fucked oysters, and ordered entries of coconut-shoulderp... and four filets of different species of fish. our eating was delicious, accompanied by a beautiful cup serving the suppe. we recommend this jewel in the rough, and look forward to returning to the future. don't go to foot, run in mariscos javics!
I love this place. it is a family company that shows great customer service, clean and great foods. I would highly recommend this restaurant if they like seafood.
My spring break was preceded with cement work to improve my home bike shop, but was thoroughly exhilarated enough to overlook my late start, which caused my late arrival at an important city council meeting regarding bicycling, and delayed entry into the great country of...Mexico via the Stanton Street bridge. So imagine my shock that my seatback, which had been rebuilt using my beloved Stumpjumper frame, collapsed on Norszagaray North due to the heavy 10liter MSR water buffalo hanging on it. Then imagine my great delight in Juan Garcia Corona, owner of El Chocolate muffler shop, was able to quickly weld it back together, and bicyclist Martin, who helped translate. Now imagine fighting a dastardly Westerly headwind to meet with professional Alfredo, curator of Casa de Adobe, Parque de Madero, at the Northern Boundary Marker #1, USA-USM. I 'm looking forward to my imagination soon becoming a reality when this very significant junction becomes an official NON-motorized Port-of-Entry, and I 'll be first to cross! Now I was turning around, going East, with the goal of Porvenir, the last legal community in Valle de Juarez, before turning North across the POE to Ft. HancockTX. Even though I now had a tailwind, my body was becoming fatigued, pushing my heavy Doublevision (I was not only carrying a significant amount of fresh clean El Paso water, but also my winter camping equipment because I expected to overnight somewhere...! I had no road map, only a gut sense of where my bearing was, the location of the railroad tracks, the Sun, still reasonably high in the sky, and followed the general flow of the (motor vehicles. I did have plenty of pesos as well as my Visa charge debit cards, but was starting to feel weary after a few hours pedaling. I knew I had to stop soon, but where? I am a huge fan of camarones, and when I saw Mariscos javics, my meal plan was soon to be past tense. Entering this fine establishment, I made myself comfortable, occupying a seat that gave me easy visibility of my Doublevision, took my helmet and shoes off. Not only was I going to feast, I was going to recuperate! My waitress, Estanfania, was diligent in making sure I had ample water, iced tea, tortillas, salsas, and, of course, cocktail de camarones grande. I feasted and feasted and feasted...! I knew I 'd eat again, just unsure of exactly when, because, you see, that is how I bike tour: feast AND famine! This eatery is the perfect place for feasting, or having a light meal, or maybe having a business meeting, or for whatever reason. There is a small amount of renovation occurring--nobody parked in two of the slots because many roofing nails littered the ground. I was having an unparalleled amount of success with my slimed Schwalbe Maaxis tires (no flats or even slow leaks , so I parked well away from those potential tire-piercing nails, too. My filling meal here kept me going 'til Sunset, when I knew better than to be pedaling, despite my excellent visibility. I needed to rest, which I had yet to do other than my great meal here. I had only started returning to this great country during my Irene 's Pedal, held every Thanksgiving, and couldn 't believe I had stayed away for so long--the accounts of murder in Mexico was extremely intimidating, but that was the previous few years, not now. I love pedaling here, even though 2 bandits stole my obsolete Olympus Stylus Tough 8000, something which can happen ANYWHERE, I had had too many positive encounters with the wonderful Juarenses to let a small incident like that discolor my high opinion of them. Anyway, this is a great restaurant, and I look forward to returning sometime in the future. You can go now, and tell them Juanito sent you!
We were here at least three times, and each time we were happy to have what we ate. the prices are affordable, the meals are delicious and the staff are very friendly and friendly. I will recommend the rusty, followed by pescado sarandeado and...of course a cold negra modelo!
The portions were huge, tasty and very cheap. will recheck for any case this establishment.
