Only two options for pour over coffees when I was there, which were good but little more variety other than a straight Bourbon would be nice.
Out of all the coffee places we've been to in our 2-days in Antigua, we had the best experience at Bella Vista Coffee. Our group woke up early to see the sun rise from our hotel. We were super groggy and was in desperate need of coffee and the person working the front desk of our hotel suggested this place. We went at around 7am and the place wasn't too crowded. The workers were really nice and patient with our high-school level Spanish. The coffee was pretty good, but the best thing about this place is THE VIEW. There is nothing like waking up and seeing the city of Antigua from a rooftop!
Wow! If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast, incredible coffee, amazing views, and a tour of a coffee farm that you will never forget, you must visit here. I had so much fun chowing down on all of their incredible breakfast options, drinking lattes and espressos, and getting a full tour of their coffee production facility. I learned so much during my time here, and I seriously recommend checking it out. Do not leave Antigua Guatemala without coming here and try and some of the best coffee in the world and educating yourself on what makes Guatemalan coffee so special.
This was the closest address I found to Bella Coffee plantation, not the cafe. We had a private tour and it was an amazing experience for a passionate lover of coffee. We went in the fall so it wasn't too busy to tour the grounds and it an orientation on how coffee is made. We ended the tour off with a coffee tasting. Even my husband who doesn't like coffee enjoyed it as it's light and mild. What an unforgettable experience!
Great view of the town and volcanos. The food is delicious and not as expensive as other places in Antigua. There are very few staff members but they are very nice and its a nice place to talk, work, or read.
