The cashier who also made the salad confessed she made it so it must be hers. (He hair was down not pulled back and no hair net on site). She dated she would give me a credit for my next visit. My carnivore some loved his dish too!
Not impressed at all. Paid $10 for an Acai bowl and all the fruit was frozen hard. By the time I was able to eat it, the bananas were brown, the oats were mushy, and it was soupy with liquid from frozen fruit. I couldn't eat it because the texture was compromised. When I go somewhere to eat, I want to eat it then, not several hours later.
The employees are so nice and helpful. My toddler has a dairy and soy allergy and they were very helpful and accommodating helping us find something we could eat. The açai bowls are especially delicious! And the cashew cheese! Best I've ever had. Some things are a little expensive for the amount you get, but it's so yummy that I'll definitely be going back. There are also cozy sitting areas all over and books that were great for keeping my little one busy for 5 minutes while we waited.
We stopped in for lunch and a coffee on the way back from Traverse City they had good coffee and several plant based options for my wife and I to enjoy. I would recommend CULA Cafe to anyone passing by who wants to relax in a coffee shop with a cool vibe and friendly service.
