Lucioli - Claremont

I am confused how lucioli prices and nolita around the corner prices vastly different restaurants and my opinion after lucioli is of much poor quality, service, fresh etc. menu is boring and standard. would rather eat grilled than eating here.

What a beautiful restaurant. we came shortly before and were greeted by a beautiful waiter. free order. to my fussy eating requirements. the personal is beautiful. that was delicious. not complaining. Thank you.

I'm puzzled at how Lucioli rates 3.5/5 and Nolita around the corner rates 3.6/5! Vastly different restaurants and in my opinion Lucioli is of much poorer quality, service, freshness etc etc. Menu is boring and standard. Would rather eat Grilld than dine here..

I only had a half size prawn pizza (pizza by the metre). Was delicious, presentation was amazing and I really liked the fresh chilli it came with in oil. I wish I was hungrier so I could have tried the pasta but I will definitely be back for more. The best part about my experience was the really friendly and accommodating service. Our waiter who may have been the manager I'm not sure, was very flexible and was happy to yield to my slightly high maintenance request haha. The atmosphere for a rainy Sunday night was actually really great, especially considering we were sitting outside! They had a live band playing as well which was really cool. The staff was actually Italian as well, it would seem, which I think is always a plus for an Italian restaurant. As I said wish I was hungrier so I could have had dessert because it all looked so appealing. Thanks, guys!
