Dead Dog Saloon - Clarendon County

Dead dog has consistently disappointing food. You don't really go there for that. But, tonight the food and service was particularly bad. Our waitress had way too many tables. Ordered onion rings, got French fries. Asked for tartar sauce, got cocktail sauce. I asked waitress if the fried oysters were good and she said yes (otherwise I would have gladly ordered something else). They were some of the worst I ever had. It's a great place to eat, lots of options for seating, walk around on the marsh walk.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. The hush puppies are amazing! Great place to take your family. Nice variety on the menu.

Onion soup and fish and chips were both great,. You can tell they get the cod fresh. Both were about the best I've ever had.
