El Jimador Irmo - Clarendon County

I just left El Jimador on Lake Murray Blvd and service has been inconsistent as always. I parked in the back, walked inside and past the host stand and told them I was going to the bar. I satay the bar from 1:30pm until 1:45 patiently waiting for someone to greet me. One gentlemen was cleaning the draft lines from the beverage company and I believe he went to let someone additionally know I was sitting there. Place was clean and food was great!! Our server was great, his name was “Gabe”. And the horchata was on point!!!

Feeling a need to chill and decompress after a hard day at work, my husband and I chose to dine at El Jimador Wednesday of this week. What a fun place! The atmosphere at El Jimador was festive (and super clean , the service was welcoming and friendly, and the food was very good! (Love the fresh salsa and my entree. The only slight negative was that I didn't really love the margarita I ordered (too much ice, not enough alcohol? . All in all, a great experience, and we will definitely return!

Food was excellent and they are fast. I go here all the time.

Decided to have lunch with the family. The food was not bad (average) and it was clean. So why only 2 stars…. Service was awful. None of the food came at the same time. Our son got his kids meal and our other son got his fries, 4—5 min later we got our meals, and final after a good 10 mins my sons wings finally came out.
