King Street Grille - Clarendon County

This place was horrible! Never been here before, went in and sat down. The host, if you can call him that, told us he'd make sure we got menus. We never did. We got up and went over to a waitress who was speaking to the host, and we're completely ignored. We stood there and stood there and waited for them to acknowledge us. Great bar atmosphere. Food is hopped up pub but tasty. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Excellent lunch- loved being able to sit outside. We shared the eggroll mac cheese appetizer and the turkey melt on a pretzel bun. Everything tasted great. Portions were generous great service by Kayla. Not sure why there are so many less than great reviews. Maybe the overall expectations from the type of people that frequent this area is higher than the rest of us? It is definitely located in an area that is upscale. I loved this place! I had the sweet tea fried chicken and it was amazing! I also had the peanut butter pie and it too was amazing! The service was great! I sat outside with my two dogs and everyone treated my dogs like family! I loved it!

It was ok. Made me think of Applebees. Food took a little while to come out. Servers were nice. It was good but not like wow or anything. Might have been our mood or expectations were for something different.
