The Obstinate Daughter

Pizza was good, service was alright, but the swamp fox cocktail is one of my favorites in the area.

First time at The Obstinate Daughter, though we have wanted to come for years. Beautiful restaurant and excellent food. My wife had the braised short rib ricotta gnocchi which was decadent — melt in your mouth gnocchi with deep rich flavors. Definitely the best restaurant we visited in Isle of Palms/Sullivan's Island. Decor is contempt/rustic. Bet nice and polished while still being on the casual and comfortable side. We say at the bar. Bartender was friendly, pleasant and perfectly attentive. Wine list is cool, thoughtful Italian (all Italian) selections. Polenta fries were delicious. Service staff was great all around. Drinks were very tasty. All the dishes we had were amazing!!! Really, really impressed. Will be back next time we are in town.

Yes. You want to eat here. Chef driven plates and great service.
