Hooks Pub Grill - Clinton

So far I have been here twice, and the beer, atmosphere, food and service is great. It is straight bar food, but it's good and good portions. It's a cool, dark, chill bar.

Will not come here again. My friends and I came to enjoy some beers, food and music on touch tunes. We order our food and played some rock songs. The blonde bartender cut our songs. Switched it to the radio or whatever. Then proceeded to say Oh we are not playing that in here. Not in my bar. I don 't care if people decide to walk out. I should get a sign that says we refuse the right to play your song, no refunds . And was was telling this to one of the other bartenders sitting at the bar. The one sitting in the bar chimed in saying Its the guys here at the table. LOL They made remarks about how we were pissed and both were proud of it. We paid for the drinks we got with that blonde and left. They didn 't ask about our food. Now the dark haired bartender that took our order had no part of it, we couldn 't find her though. I believe they owe my friends who lost money due to this should get drinks chips to make it right by them. Also the AC was either not on or was not working. I won 't go again if that blonde bartender or the one sitting with her are there.

I came for the $5 cheeseburger basket was not disappointed! The food is usually pretty solid at Hooks. The bartender was friendly the atmosphere was chill as always. My burger was delicious. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Golden Road Mango Cart really enjoyed it!

Nice beer garden area. Friendly staff and nice selection of local brewery beers. Had a menu but we didn't purchase food.

Menu is very difficult to read and you are rushed to order. Definitely not worth the price. 0/10
