My wife and I decided to visit Sierra City and stopped at a restaurant we found on Yelp before reaching our destination. The place had received 5-star reviews, and after trying their fish and chips, we understood why. Initially, we thought it was a restaurant building, but it turned out to be a food truck tucked away among trees. The food truck served delicious fish and chips, which were comparable to those at any sit-down restaurant I've been to. The dish included four pieces of wild caught cod, uniquely shaped thick curl fries, and flavorful tartar sauce. The setting in the woods in Graegal added to the overall experience, and the service was quick and friendly. The prices were reasonable considering the generous portion size. I'm already planning to make the trip from Reno again to try their tacos.

We organized a gathering at the Brewing Lair for our guests the day following our wedding, and we had a wonderful time coordinating with the Ricochet Food Truck to provide meals for our guests. Cheryl was accommodating, supportive, and welcoming, and she had creative solutions to cater to our guests with specific dietary needs. The food was delicious and our guests were even going back for more. Overall, it was a positive experience all around!

The only food option at Brewing Lair is an overpriced food truck serving greasy food. There is no ice available, as my friend ordered a drink and wanted it with ice. The only restroom option is an outhouse pit toilet. On top of that, we were charged $14 for two small tacos, plus tax, and asked for a tip when paying with a credit card. Next time, I recommend bringing a nice picnic lunch, as the brewery itself is great and the setting is lovely. The service is takeout only.

I recently tried the food booth at the Brewing Lair and was pleasantly surprised by their taco salad. As someone who is very particular about taco salads, I must say that this one was spot on! I also indulged in some tasty fries that were absolutely delicious.
