Great attentive staff, a warm welcome, fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, a little odyssey of Greece in Wales. Highly recommended .... Thank you Nik
I give this restaurant five stars for its originality. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this quirky Greek place on a rainy day in West Wales. The food is authentically Greek, with delicious dishes, Greek wine, olives, and dips, all served by a friendly and welcoming front-of-house team. Nik, the chef, takes the time to leave the kitchen after service to chat with guests and ensure everyone is satisfied. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
The Stifado was outstanding, and the calamari, gemista, Greek salad, and souvlaki were all excellent. The kleftiko was nice but a bit dry and overly peppery; I believe the lamb used was too lean for this dish, as it's typically made from fattier cuts in Greece and often includes the bone. We were also interested in trying the lamb offal, but unfortunately, it was already sold out. Overall, I would highly recommend both the rooms and the restaurant.
