The best gluten free pies ever!!! Fries and chicken salt were amazing
I arrived at the restaurant at 10 AM and found a selection of four gluten-free items available in a dedicated pie warmer, which included three different pies and a sausage roll. The server demonstrated excellent practices to prevent cross-contamination by filling my order first, using separate utensils and a designated paper bag, and placing my items in a separate area on the counter away from gluten-containing orders. The service was quick and efficient, and the pastry was delicious.
I’m really disappointed that we specifically traveled to this restaurant only to find out they had no gluten-free options available. They informed us it would take 45 minutes to prepare a pie, and the staff member was quite rude about the situation. We don’t choose to have celiac disease, so it was a frustrating experience.
The staff informed me that the gluten-free pies and sausage rolls are prepared separately to prevent any cross-contamination. They are stored in a designated warmer just for gluten-free items. They were delicious!
