Subway - Coffs Harbour

Since the last time, I visited this Subway the state of the employees has largely improved and the staff no longer have Hickes on their necks. Thank you for listening to my review

Very clean , excellent service....great value for money...a great place for a quick good meal, great cookies

We were overcharged for our meal at this restaurant and the excuse given was that they couldn't adjust the register because we were charged individually instead of for a combo meal. The staff working there was unhelpful and the cashier kept blaming the sandwich makers for not communicating the order properly. I had to intervene to correct the mistake, as they were quick to tell kids to accept their errors but not so keen to listen to me. The management of this franchise seems disorganized and ineffective.

The Subway is inside the Park Beach Plaza and is a great choice for a quick and easy lunch stop when shopping. Subs were well made and done to order and everything was fresh.

Do staff not know why they wear gloves and how often they should change them?? Yesterday the girl who served me wearing clear plastic gloves was happy to make my sub with the same pair of gloves she had been touching the register and every other item around it with them on. She was quite indignite when I asked her to change them before continuing with making my sub. Are they not taught about cross contamination of food? After making my seafood sub and touching the seafood with her gloves she then proceeded to make the next customers sub without changing her gloves... lets hope that person didn't have a seafood allergy!!!
