Cafe Mangia - Colchester

Cold and wintry day so needed some comfort foodTaking some family out to lunch one of which was up from Florida.

Well, got a Groupon to give this establishment a swingDecided to try brunchWe were literally the only 2 people in the restaurant.

Very nice atmosphereSat out on the screened in porchTook a long time to get servedHostess ended up serving us.

Fantastic fare in a more intimate setting. Would recommend to anyone who's in the mood for some good Italian food!

Great little place!! The lunch menu is a perfect size, not too much to choose from so what they make is PERFECT. meat ball grinder was some really nice cuts of a bigger meatball, sauce ans perfect and bread had a very nice crunch on the outside. Chips and apple as a side was a nice pairing. The desserts were fantastic! Tiramisu was nice and light, berry cobbler was nice and warm again, perfect portion sizing. We are visiting from Texas, but would love to come again if I am in the area.
