Scotties Frozen Custard - Colchester

Our meals were delicious. We had perfectly cooked clam strips and the fish sandwich was great. We also had cheese fries and they came with cheese on the side so the fries weren’t soggy before we got to eat them all. We appreciated the clean and nicely set up outdoor seating! Our dessert custard and ice creams were the perfect finish and we will be back!

Update, after posting this the owner reached out to me and made amends for our previous vist. He came outside to meet me and apologize for the lack of service by his trainees. The food is good and he was genuine in his apology. We will be back.

The fries are SO good, and the Buffalo chicken sandwich is the best! I love Scotties, and everything I order is excellent! The frozen custard is also very good. I am a customer for life!

Such a great place to grab a milkshake!!! Or a quick bite to eat. Hot dogs are scrumptious! My dog LOVES to go to scotties because he knows he's gonna get his FREE pup cup!!!! We also brought one of his friends for a treat too!!!!!

Colchester classic! You make frozen jug if you didn't try, you should. This is the place where my parents brought me back as a kid. Had the turtles Sunday vanilla custard, butter pecans, caramel, hot fudge and whipped cream. It was amazing. Maybe one more would have eaten. Nice sitting area covered, with a lot of picnic table, which looked like they were new. I'll be back in Connecticut.
