Chris's Fish - Colchester

Ordered 4 large fish and 3 medium chips with mushy peas. I’m a northerner so have high standards for a fish supper and mushy peas but this was great. Mushy peas like they do them in Lancashire and not too salty and the fish is gorgeous. Generous portions and not a bad price. Would definitely recommend!

Service good and quick great selection of food and soft drinks good value for money . This is not a restaurant but a good old type take away fish and chip shop. Always busy used by locals and people from outside the village

Ordered over the phone last night, 2 large skinless cod, battered burger, large battered sausage plus 2 large chips, 10 minutes later all done, great food great portion sizes. Will definitely recommend Chris's to everyone

Came down to visit mum from Suffolk and opted for fish n chip tea. I have to say it was very nice and freshly cooked.

Fish and chips are really lovely. They always taste so fresh and the batter on fish is just right. Staff are friendly as well.
