Not the best pub in Colchester..felt very clicky..seemed that everyone knew one another..and did not like strangers..food was Ok for a pub..but nothing special....

Nice old pub, but food was very average and the cutlery, placemats and table were not very clean. Have had good food here in the past so rather disappointed.

Miserable staff, poor service, very long wait for a burger that was frankly horrible.. Won't ever go there again.
