The Coffee House - Colchester

The restaurant offers delicious food and yummy cakes, with a friendly welcome and great value for money. It's hard to find anything to dislike here. My personal favorites are the coffee cake and sweet and sour chicken, although not necessarily eaten together. The toasties come with coleslaw and a side salad and are extremely tasty and satisfying.

The staff are friendly. 12 tables nicely spaced out and sanitised. Breakfast was perfect size, local sourced items, hot and speedy service. £7.50 couldn't fault it.

Had breakfast lunch here before,very nice.disaponted today.coffee Luke warm,sausage thumb size.beans reheated egg overcooked,tomato no pulp the top and tail ends served on both plates?... strange these normally in the bin?...toast cold the butter didn't even melt a little when we buttered it...won't be returning,shame!

Great Food, Great staff, and very reasonably priced. I absolutely love this Cafe. I will be visiting you a lot more as it is Brilliant.

We stopped by for a quick break on our way to the zoo. The coffee was delicious and the service was excellent, despite the restaurant being very busy.
