I ordered the Gyro with Lamb and it was well made and taste great. My mom got the shrimp Poe-boy and she is a picky eater and eat almost all of it. Good place in the middle of nowhere and well worth the stop.
Let me start by saying......Presentation is 60% of the taste when we eat out. Great food but poor service will not get a repeat visit. Average food but great service will get repeated visits. Stopped in on the way home to give the Colfax Rock Diner on Hwy 71 a shot, Not only were the staff polite, sincere and professional, the food was amazing. It reminded me of the “old mom and pop shops” my grandpaw use to bring me to when I was a kid. Good ole southern cooking with a family atmosphere. I recommend y’all give them a visit. Thank you CRD. Businesses like you is what makes Louisiana “Louisiana”.
Second time to eat there was today, the catfish and shrimp were delicious. Looking forward to the next visit. Very good service!
Got the catfish.. it was very good...wasn’t greasy and didn’t taste fishy.. had some of the homemade hummus and pita chips... it were very good...staff was very friendly and the place was clean.
If I could give it a -5 I would. My co-workers and I made a large order. The potato was extremely dry, the toppings were the bare minimum, no seasonings and they just clumped together on top of the potato. The supervisor and the waitress were extremely rude when I called back to complain. I was yelled at and told I made this myself . We don 't butter unless you ask ...Who has to ask for butter for a baked potato? The fajita was not a fajita. I was told that we asked for pita bread when given the options of pita or flat/bread. Okay but where are the fajita fillings? This is simply grilled chicken with vegetables and no seasoning. Not one sprinkle of fajita seasoning. Please don 't waste you 're money.
