This charming restaurant is located in a convenient area with metered parking and other local shops nearby. The food was quite tasty, with unique sushi rolls and the option to order big platters of various rolls to share, making it a good value for groups. The sushi was fresh and delicious overall. The chicken katsu donburi was particularly delicious, while the seafood yakisoba was just average. However, I have never been wowed by this dish anywhere, so I will be giving it a rest for now.
Avoid this restaurant. My group of 9 agreed to split into two tables of 4 and 5, even though there were empty tables available. The hostess was very unfriendly and refused to accommodate our request. It doesn't make sense why they couldn't accommodate us. This restaurant does not live up to Collingwood's reputation as a great tourist spot. I do not recommend it at all.
Stopped in for an early dinner, but no dining options, just pickup during August 2021. The meal was delicious! Rainbow, California and Cilantro rolls were divine. The seaweed salad was a little small for the price, but the quality was there. Definately going back when near Collingwood.
Ordered the lunch bento box, one teriyaki and one sushi lunch special. Both come with miso soup, salad and spring rolls.. Which is nice to get all three! I really appreciate when a sushi place gives you less rice than the fish on the actual sushi pieces so you can taste more fish. The spicy salmon Maki roll is quite good. Out of the many many sushi places.. It's quite good, I put it on the top 10 for spicy salmon. I recommend upgrading your California roll to something else. Because, nobody cares about the California roll. Friendly and speedy service. Would go again, pretty darn good and that's including all the soosh spots in the GTA.
