Absolutely one of the best food experiences you can have. Stunning dishes, beautifully presented. We tried their brunch and their 6 course meal dinner and both were beyond our expectations. For people with taste its a must try.
We were lucky enough to stumble on this little gem of a restaurant during our getaway to Blue Mountain. We parked the car to go to a neighboring restaurant but saw how lovely Tremont was and had to check out the menu. The service was spectacular— everyone was warm and inviting. It’s usually hard to find a restaurant that has excellent options for plant based (me) and omnivores (husband). The hen of the woods was a truly memorable dish— so well thought out. I’m still thinking about it a week later. The meal was so special that it’s worth building a weekend trip around! We will certainly be back.
Visited the Tremont Cafe on January 6th 2024 for a romantic dinner to celebrate an anniversary. Both my partner and myself were absolutely blown away with how friendly, professional and accommodating the staff were. From the moment we sat down and were treated to some complementary champagne, we knew it was going to be a special evening. We opted for the tasting menu with a wine pairing and were really impressed with the quality of the food that was being served (I would definitely echo some of the other reviewers when I say this place deserves more recognition). In particular the scallop dish and the beef wagyu dish really stood out as exceptional.Thank you so much to the staff for making it such a memorable experience. If you are ever in Collingwood I would highly recommend you try The Tremont Cafe.
The first time here! not vegan, but had the vegan 8 cursor meal, my partner had the same with the wine pairing. eating was amazing and tasteful! the texture of each course was really pleasant. especially enjoyed the hen of the woods, crispy eggplant and the beet carpaccio! also enjoyed that there are 2 desserts, one middle and one at the end. our server was super attentive, and led us through the menu, when we had recommendations for questions/swanted (we also have a head on the plentiful mushrooms when we took part in the vegan 8 curs). the ambiente was casual and the lighting was good for dinner. one that could be improved is heating near the windows. our table was right next to the window, and it was cool during some parts of the mealtimes. would definitely come back here 10/10
