From the first bite to the last, I could tell that the chefs put a lot of effort into creating tasty and satisfying meals. The menu offered a good variety of options. However, one aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the portion sizes. Considering the price of the meals, I found the portions to be on the smaller side. While the flavors were excellent, I wished there was a bit more food on the plate to fully satisfy my hunger. It's worth noting that if you have a hearty appetite, you might need to order an appetizer or additional sides to feel completely satiated. Another downside of my experience at Food for the Soul Bistro was the wait time. Unfortunately, the service was a bit slow, and it took longer than expected to receive our meals. This can be frustrating, especially when you're hungry and eager to enjoy your food. I hope they can work on improving the efficiency of their service to provide a more seamless dining experience. On a positive note, I absolutely loved the decor of the restaurant. The ambiance was cozy, warm, and inviting. The attention to detail in the interior design created a charming and comfortable atmosphere, which added to the overall dining experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable. The restaurant was well-maintained, and I felt comfortable dining in a clean and hygienic environment. In conclusion, Food for the Soul Bistro in Comfort, Texas, offers delicious food with impeccable flavors. However, the portion sizes can be a bit small for the price, and the wait time for your food might be longer than expected. Nevertheless, the beautiful decor and cleanliness of the restaurant create a pleasant atmosphere for diners. With a few improvements in portion sizes and service efficiency, this bistro has the potential to provide an even more enjoyable dining experience
I was served an on-the-spot chicken salad sandwich that was very fresh, with sourdough bread. Staff was inviting and friendly! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I like Food for the Soul as a local eatery. Good fish tacos and Gyro sandwiches. Service is a little slow, and the atmosphere is casual. It can get a little loud. They can also improve their ice access for customers. Drinks are self serve and they don't keep the ice fully loaded. I cut them slack though because they are a small business.
