The best BBQ I've ever had in Texas! Perfectly seasoned, with none of the questionable flavors I've encountered elsewhere.

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we returned the very next day. The food was excellent; everything was cooked to perfection with a wonderful smoky flavor. The combination of corn with Brussels sprouts was something I never knew I needed in my life—it was truly amazing. However, what really made this experience special was the atmosphere and the staff. Even though it was my first visit, it felt like I was coming to see family. Riley, Trixie, and Pam were working in front, and the chemistry between them was something I could watch on a TV show. They were not only friendly and funny, but also quick and attentive, introducing me to dishes I probably wouldn’t have tried otherwise (I discovered a new favorite in the maque choux). The decor reminded me of my childhood home, especially with the sound of rain on the tin roof. The place was very clean and full of character. I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I also find it hard to trust William Kerl, who left a negative review; we were there at the same time, and I’m pretty sure I saw him just before he took a bite of the brisket.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants for fantastic meals! We had lunch here today with friends, and we're happy to report that, despite the new changes, the food remains excellent and the familiar faces among the staff are still there. They are still waiting for their liquor license, but we enjoyed some tea instead!

I have stopped here on a laune for a late lunch. omg, that may be part of the best brisket I ever had, and the riders are also seriously addicted. really everything was so delicious and the staff was very friendly. it's almost an hour away from our house, but I have the feeling that we make a stop when we are in the opposite of now, just try more black boar bbq.
