The food at the restaurant was delicious. The Barramundi was crispy and served on a beautiful risotto base. The prawn linguine was tasty, although it was different from what we were used to. The sauce was good, but it may have been overcooked. The service was friendly, but it seemed like the staff were not very experienced. They were unfamiliar with how the OpenTable system worked. I had mentioned a special occasion when making the reservation, so I expected a certain level of professionalism. However, when we arrived, a loud lady asked in front of my guest and other patrons if I had a discount voucher or Groupon booking. This made me feel embarrassed. Showing her the OpenTable email was not enough. Another waitress later asked if I had a barcode or something similar that they needed to scan. There were several trips back and forth to the counter by the staff to figure out how to bill it. The offer was a great value and clearly advertised on the website/OpenTable. In my opinion, the billing process should be handled discreetly at the counter, not in front of other patrons or guests. Despite the good food, location, and atmosphere, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome upon arrival. I know it was not intentional, and it would be beneficial for the owner to properly train the staff before implementing digital marketing strategies.

Very disappointed as I had booked on-line and received email confirmation. Also telephoned on another occasion to request an inside table due to very hot weather on Friday. On arrival (right on time) I was told there was no booking made which was not a good start to the evening. Also water for table was not cold had to ask for ice in all a very disappointing evening.

The food at this restaurant was excellent and the portions were very generous. However, the service was lacking due to understaffing, not the fault of the servers. Despite this, the food arrived promptly and was delicious. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. I would definitely return to dine here again.
