B-b-q Soul - Compton

Sorry Rena G your bbq just ain't cutting it i actually got sick and felt like throwing up rite after I ate and I only ate it because I can't afford to and hate wasting food and money my wife took a few bites and gave her plate away I hope you improve your food but I would never know because I wouldn't eat there again

This restaurant saidntheybwoukdnhave our order ready by 130pm after putting in the order at 1130 am. We did not receive our order until 230 pm! Do not order online with this restaurant!

I ordered the pork rib dinner with the sauce on the side because I prefer to dip my meat into BBQ sauce. The server read my order back to me, yet somehow my ribs arrived covered in sauce. While the portion size was decent, the flavor was disappointing. I didn't taste any smokiness, nor could I smell it; the ribs tasted and looked more like they were baked rather than barbecued. I won’t be returning here again.

I have to admit, I really enjoyed the burgers. The meat patties are made by hand. I'll definitely be going back!

From the east coast of Buckroe Beach, Virginia, all the way to Compton, California, we had the pleasure of stopping at Rena's BBQ soul food establishment in Compton. I must say, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the greens! My family and I left feeling full and satisfied. You definitely get a lot of food for your money. If you find yourself in the LA area, I highly recommend giving them a try. Thanks again for the warm hospitality – we will definitely be back!
