Dragon 88 - Conception Bay South

This was a great find! We were looking for a brunch place on a Sunday and this place was spot on.

Great Onion Soup and super friendly service. They even took the time to teach us a little French while we were ordering!

Took the advice of a travel writer and enjoyed the lunch formule (the slow paced Prix fixe meal) They offered two, fish or steak, so we said yes.

Great food only thing changed were the new owners , fresh vegetables in every bite always a great experience

Dragon 88 is our local Chinese restaurant. It does a booming take out and delivery service as well as a sit down meal. There are buffets on weekends although I'd check first in case this has changed. We usually get take out and I can highly recommend the wor won ton soup. It's so delicious and full of yummy shrimp, chicken, vegetables and of course won tons. The chicken balls are full of chicken with a bit of batter instead of a lot of batter with chicken you have to search for. The vegetable dishes I've tried are great in that they are not only tasty but the vegetables are crisp and not overcooked. I really love the noodle dshes too. Overall favourites include the Cantonese chow mein, the special squid and the broccoli and garlic. The building is a little dated and old but the food is really good. Enjoy!
