2 Gals Kitchen - Concord

Kind staff, fast service, and delicious burgers and their potatoe salad reminded me of my mom's. Honestly it's no wonder their burgers have earned them trophies two years running, However one of the things this place is hyped for is their daily desert choices and unfortunately I came on a day where their choices were just basic pies and Carrot Cake. As I understand it their specialty cupcakes is what makes them so popular and if that's the case then that's what they should be offering daily instead of on again off again, cause I don't like carrot cake and the pie I opted for, I'm sorry to say, I regret cheating on my diet for cause it wasn't even as good as grocery store bought freezer pies I've had in the past. So ya y'all should stick to the cupcakes!!

During our stay in the area for the Coca-Cola 600, my family and I dined at 2Gals. The cozy and warm atmosphere added to the overall dining experience. The standout dish was the cheese dip appetizer that is a must-try. My husband and kids thoroughly enjoyed their burgers, while I relished the Ruben sandwich. We also shared a basket of fresh, homemade and delicious fries. Despite road work out front, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant for more of their delicious food.

I love coming here for lunch! The food is always really fresh and tasty. My favorite thing to get is the tarragon chicken sandwich. It’s one of my favorite chicken salad sandwiches. The bow tie pasta salad is a great side with a nice, zesty flavor. My husband loves their burgers as well. It’s a great place to stop by if you’re exploring downtown Concord!

We really enjoyed the restaurant's decor and found the service to be good. However, our dishes were just okay. The burgers were definitely not cooked to order and were very overcooked, even though we had asked for them to be cooked medium. The salad and salad dressing were also lacking in flavor. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience.

We heard great things about this place, so we finally ventured out to downtown Concord. The location is great as it seats in the middle of everything downtown has to offer. The wait staff were helpful and explained their specials. The food did not disappoint on taste. I got the burger and a side of tuna salad. While very tasty, the side was quite small. Otherwise, we had a great experience.
