Los Pinos Mexican Foods - Concord

This restaurant offers great value and delicious food in the area. The 3 Chicken Taquitos with Rice and Beans were tasty, although they were missing cheese. The red Enchilada A La Carta was also very good. The highlight was the Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus Water) offered at a reasonable price.

The burrito was bland and served cold. The steak was chewy and occasionally hard to bite into. I couldn't eat the whole thing. The churros were average, with no complaints.

The food lacked flavor and freshness. The enchilada sauce, beans, and rice tasted like they were heated in the microwave. The flan appeared to be frozen and was missing the caramel sauce.

2 Quesabirria W/ Consome the meat was dry, even with the consome. Super Burrito, the meat was bland and not flavorfull The chips were stale the only really good thing was the spicy salsa

The Enchilada Combo plates were excellent, and the portions were very generous. we had the chicken with green sauce and the carnitas with red sauce. Both were served guacamole and sour cream.
