This restaurant is a true hidden gem in West Concord, Massachusetts. If you're looking for farm-to-table cuisine along with some classic meal options, I highly recommend this spot. I had a wonderful dinner at Saltbox last night. Although we live in West Concord, we often dine in places like Lexington and Arlington and tend to forget how fantastic Saltbox is! The salmon was incredible, and the gnocchi was absolutely delicious. The simple Romaine salad was fresh and tender. It's a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner—perfect for any meal!

This place has style. Once you enter, there is something in the air where you know that good things will happen. 1. Get the chocolate chip cookies. I ordered one and came back immediately and got two more. 2. Food was great. When I opened the paper box, my burger looked just as good and the presentation was taken into account. I really enjoyed this place and will be back. Very recommended!

Great flavors and care put into the food, although on the high end of pricey. I love well portioned food, but the portions can vary so ask before ordering (soup bowls are more like a small cup at $10). Coffee is very good and the ginger scones are worth the drive alone. It's definitely a treat, and more suitable for grown ups. Bonus that you can pick up a bottle of wine here for the night. Order ahead if you don't want to wait. Limited seating.
