We had the kung pow “chicken”, salt and pepper “chicken” and fried kway teow noodles It’s Hometown’s kitchen misspelt in the title on happy cow in case any confusion
Currently closed as they are relocating. Our little family really enjoys their vegan menu; however Coogee will be too far for us, unless we make a day trip to the beach :
This place was my family's go to local Asian restaurant for years back when we were non veg. Recently they added a full vegan menu with about 20 items ranging from mock meats, tofu, noodles and vegetables. Main dishes start from $14 $20 and are cooked to excellent taste and quality. Must try dishes are the Gan Xiang Chicken, Salt Pepper Tofu and the Char Kway Teow (best I've had in Perth). The Cendol is vegan too.
Love this place, the food is awesome and it’s one of our family favourites but it would help if the opening hours were correct on here as it’s Monday and it says your open until 12 midnight, which seemed unusual to us but we thought we would try anyway after being stuffed around for the past hour and a half for the very same reason at other establishments saying they were open until 10 online only to find they stop food at 8:30. I work in this very industry and no matter the night if we have publicly said we’re open to a certain time then we’re open til that very time. Very frustrating to say the least
I have been ordering from Hometown for many months now and the food has been pretty good. The delivery is pretty quick and friendly. Well priced and I can recommend them.
