Spice Land - Copeland

I decided last minute to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. The food was exceptional and the service was surprisingly efficient, despite a few other diners. I will definitely be returning.

Meal deal for 2 £17.95 Chicken tikka masala Chicken karai 3x Popperdoms Onion bargi’s Salad mix 2 dips Garlic Nan bread Best Indian i have ever eaten. Absolutely beautiful. Stuffed

Takeaway ordered as we usually do. We challenged the price over the phone as it was a lot higher as usual and when it arrived we found hairs in the food that look like pubes. Its disgusting

My son and I ordered a takeaway recently and were very impressed. Although we had to collect the food it was ready promptly. There is a great selection of dishes, all reasonably priced and the portions were huge. Plenty for dinner and the following day. Would highly recommend.

Take away was very poor. The spicy poppadum was soft and the normal popadum wasn't as crisp as it should be. Chicken Tika Balti had some undercooked chicken in it and onion stuck together and the whole meal lacked taste. Chicken Duphaiza was cooked but very bland. Pilau rice stuck together in clumps. Garlic naam was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside and had no garlic in it. Overall the worst Indian meal we have ever had and will not return.
