The pub offers two- and three-course lunches for £8 and £10. While the portion sizes may be slightly smaller than those on the regular menu, they provide ample space for enjoying three courses! I had the whitebait as a starter, followed by wild boar and apple crumble for dessert—all were excellent and great value. The service from the waitstaff was pleasant and attentive, and they have a good selection of real ales. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. We stopped by while exploring the Jurassic coast, which was particularly scenic and interesting—what a beautiful day!

Absolutely delightful and welcoming experience! The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful; they go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. The food is wonderful—exceptionally delicious and offered at very competitive prices. There's a fantastic selection of wines, beers, and spirits, so there's something for everyone. It's conveniently located near Corby, easily accessible by car or taxi. Plus, it's very dog-friendly, making it a great spot for pet owners. All the employees were particularly friendly towards our German shepherd. Overall, a definite winner!

We visited the spread eagle as we found out that it was dog friendly and we were certainly not disappointed. they, where not only very welcoming, but the chef made a few wild boar sausages for our German brains we both had a nice 3-course lunch for £9.99, that was a tasty. good honest pub duve, great beer and a very friendly environment. have booked for Sunday dinner

On Sunday with the family. never before was not booked, but the booking was necessary in the rule. managed, without having to fit us. food quality good and service exceptional and friendly. would recommend it.

Called in for an evening meal with my partner, was greeted by a friendly lady behind the bar. We order Brixworth pate and mussels as a starter, then surf and turf and the 8oz rump steak, it was cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend a meal out there. Thank you see you again.
