The traditional Irish dishes were cooked to perfection, and the Irish stew in particular was mouthwatering. The entertainment offered was also delightful, and the venue had plenty of space to accommodate the tour groups that were present.
Recently, my family and I went for lunch at Bailey's restaurant. It was bustling with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. The variety of food options was excellent, with all of us enjoying different dishes including chicken, lamb, and pork, all of which were delicious. The portions were generous and satisfying. The desserts were also tasty and delicious. We all had a great time and found it to be very good value for the quality of food and service.
We had a meal booked for 1 o'clock and met Danielle at reception with a lovely smile. She showed us to our table and took our orders. There was a great selection of starters and even better options for our main course - lamb, beef, haddock, chicken breast, and plenty of vegetables. The soup was delicious and the desserts included a large selection of ice cream, cheesecake, and a decadent death by chocolate option that most of us couldn't resist. To top it all off, the staff served tea and coffee, with plenty of extra helpings available. The waitresses and waiters were extremely helpful and even provided a cake with candles for my father's 81st birthday. They even treated us to a round of drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - the staff are caring, the service is excellent, and the prices are very affordable. It's a comfortable place where you can truly enjoy your meal - they even don't mind if you lick your plates clean! - Mick Sorenson
Just after a gorgeous dinner at the Commons Inn and sampled the fillet steak from the new menu. Devine. I don't often write reviews but the staff were so welcoming I couldn't miss the opportunity to offer praise. If you call be sure to say hello to Daniel, he gave us great recommendations and he couldn't have been nicer
I dined here for dinner on a Sunday when I stayed at the hotel. The first thing i noticed was how busy it was but i had arrived around 2pm which is standard sunday lunch time. The menu had a great variety for all three courses. I opted for a vegetable soup, roast leg of lamb and a warm apple pie (although my first choice had been a meringue but this had been sold out which was quite surprising). The food was great and the portions were huge. Each course was better than the last and all cooked to perfection. I loved how modern the restaurant was with a view of the kitchen at one end and of the garden (and busy main road) at the other end. The only disappointment was that the staff were rushed off their feet but still they were helpful and prompt. There were some large parties dining close to me too who were quite loud and moany which would have ruined my experience had i let it. It came to 25 euro overall A few wines in the bar after for the perfect sunday afternoon.
