Disappointing experience in that when we got there (9pm on a Saturday) we were informed that the monkfish, cod and the only two ‘hot’ starters were not available i.e. the already small menu was made far smaller. We made do and ordered dishes that were not our first choice (the chicken and the hake) and they were both tasty no complaints there. However we left wondering what the dishes we missed out on were like. When you have such a small menu, surely you make an extra effort to ensure it hasn’t almost completely run out during normal service hours Our server was lovely didn’t have the heart to say it to her as she seemed frustrated that those dishes were missing! Food was tasty. Staff were great, no complaints there...BUT...THE PORTION SIZES ARE ABYSMAL I was still hungry after a main, 2 sides and a starter. A little more food on the plate would go a long way to satisfying this customer. You should not be still hungry after buying 60 euro worth of food. The smoked mackerel pictured on their website is a perfect example... it is 5 tiny nibbles of fish. The mains were similar 4 mouthfuls of fish, and then you buy they sides extra. Disgraceful.
