When I asked if they sold water, the two girls working there started giggling at me, making me feel uncomfortable. I ended up receiving a flat white coffee that looked more like a small cappuccino with overheated milk and one of the worst frosts I have ever seen. I cannot comment on their donuts, cakes, or ice cream, but the coffee and customer service were both terrible. This experience happened today, August 25th at 2:30 pm. I can't recall the exact date of the water incident, but one of the girls involved was a young blond in her 20s with blue eyes.
I went to Big Doughnuts in the Wilton shopping center in March 2020 and absolutely loved all of their doughnuts. We enjoyed them so much that we made a trip back to Cork in July 2020 to get more. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I recently found out that they have a location on Oliver Plunkett St., so I will definitely be visiting there the next time I am in Cork.
Took my three small kids here, they loved the doughnuts. The coffee is also very good. And there was a lovely helpful girl at the tills which makes a pleasant change these days. She was patient and helpful while the kids were changing their minds on what to order. Cute seating area outside. Overall a very nice experience .
This is a fantastic spot for a cup of coffee, a donut, or an egg. The girl working today was a true asset to the establishment - friendly, talkative, and accommodating. I will definitely be returning in the future.
It's a nicer load and I'm sorry for the employees who go out of a job because of the company from the business. I gave it 3 stars because the products are expensive, especially the donuts 6 for 15 €.
