El Banditos - Cork

This place was amazing, but it is now closed. We enjoyed their food for the months they lasted and filled up about four loyalty cards in that time because we went so frequently.

I had the burrito meal at lunch time which included the burrito, tortilla chips and a drink. I was taken the food back to the office. On leaving I had some of the tortillo chips there were soft. I went back to the waitress and she treated me very badly. She said she had opened up a new bag so I asked her to taste them she refused. I left and I got the girls in the office to taste them all of them agreed that there was a mixture of fresh and soft tortilla chips. What the waitress much have done is opened up a new bag but never threw away the old tortillo chips. I was hurt by the way the waitress treated me.

Visited today and thoroughly enjoyed our tacos and burrito on the lunchtime deals. Great prices, tasty generous portions and very helpful and friendly staff. Great place and will be back.

I am torn between giving this restaurant three or four stars. I was leaning towards three due to the lack of proper seasoning in the otherwise delicious burritos. The staff is wonderful and the burritos are huge, filled with fresh and high-quality ingredients. There is a clear sense of creativity and fun in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, this could be a fantastic burrito bar with some simple adjustments.

I am extremely picky about my burritos, but I have to admit that El Banditos really impressed me. They serve delicious, generously filled burritos with so much flavor. The staff is also very friendly, which is a nice added bonus. I ordered the shredded beef burrito and my boyfriend got a vegetarian option, and both were absolutely delicious!
