Pompeii Pizza - Cork

Tasty stone fire pizza in a brewery. Most of the seating is outside, but it’s somewhat heated. Food is very quick, and the beer is excellent! Also, on a night when a reservation was needed most other places in Cork, we didn’t need one here, which was a relief.

Our taste for pizza is rather selective, and for this reason it was a delight to stumble upon a place like Pompeii Pizza. The pizza dough was just right, halfway between thin and spongier, with the toppings spot on in terms of flavour. A pleasant combination is also their synergy with the pub next door, the Franciscan Well, which allows you to order food from the former and drinks from the latter, with seating options in both locals, indoors or outside.

The best pizza in Cork! It tastes as the real Italian Pizza. My friend and me really enjoyed that. On Saturday night is a little bit chaotic, but it's okay, if you want try the best pizza in Cork!

Great pizza which goes perfectly with the craft brewed beer of the Franciscan Well team. Definitely worth a visit, and great value too.
