Very intimate, pleasant place to eat quality dishes. The shrimps to the pilpilpil a little past of spicy but otherwise of perfect eating.

Spitjack is a very relaxing place to have breakfast. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered chocolate buttermilk pancakes and eggs Benedict on sourdough, both were delicious and perfectly done. To drink we had a chai latte and cappuccino again really nice. I think that it’s a little bit expensive for breakfast.

My name is Sebastian. I have to say that I am amazed by the outstanding service I have been greeted with at SpitJack this evening. I have have a very bad week and today is a very special occasion for me and my partner. The team was not doing deliveries anymore, yet they made a special exception for me and went out of their way to ensure that my night goes as planned. I am forever greatful for this and would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Excellent food, outstanding service and understanding. You have made a customer for life. Managed to book a table on a Saturday night. Well worth it. Staff were superb, super impressed by him remembering our order, with no paper or tablet in attendance. Starter was nice and tasty but the main was fantastic. Had the porchetta on garlic mash with rotisserie jus. Fabulous and followed with a great crème brûlée. Great wine recommendation too. Nice relaxed atmosphere with a pleasant mumble of other diners all enjoying their night too. When back in Cork I’m back at Spitjacks for sure.

The food was lovely. Had the surf n turf, was very good. We had some cocktails, the Moscow mule was excellent. The passionfruit martini was only ok. 10/10 for presentation, but made with lime not lemon juice, so call that bit personal preference. Excellent staff
