The Oliver Plunkett - Cork

Food incl. Irish stew was good and is recommended! Unfortunately no live band or recorded music was playing. The front door was left open which caused a draft of cold air at table level, was very discomforting.

Nice pub to go out on weekend for a live music or sit in the garden on a sunny day. As you can expect from popular and central located venue it's fairly expensive and service ranges from very bad in day time to fairly good in the night time. Fair play to bartenders working weekends!

The food which for me was soup and sandwiches can't go wrong you would think the soup was nice the sandwiches were not the bread had no substance. The girl that served us looked like she would rather be anywhere else

I dont give many 5 stars but the reason I am giving this place so is because every time I come in here I have an amazing time. I come in alone and I leave with friends. Something about this place attracts people of the best variety. Everyone is so inviting and charming and its always the beginning of an adventure. I will be here every time I am in Cork.
