I had shrimp pad Thai and my wife had fried tofu pad Thai. Both excellent! I like the fact that these are Lao people because I have the flavors better than Thai, although similar. I had spicy #20 and my wife had #0. If I don't sweat, it's worth not getting! Oh, yeah! Only what I would recommend is that they remain authentic and not add so much sugar for American palates. Stay true.
Ruins Thai is an outstanding restaurant. Unfortunately, the restroom facilities are closed, but the kitchen is still operating. The food is exceptional, and the staff is very friendly. Overall, it’s definitely a place I would return to. Cheers!
Ruins Thai is a gem in Northeast Georgia. The food is consistently fresh, and the family that runs the restaurant is incredibly friendly. Some of my personal favorites include the Red Curry, Massaman Curry, Panang Curry, and Thai Pad. My kids loved the Massaman Curry because it was easy for them to enjoy solid food first.
Great place to dine. Coconut soup is outstanding and I strongly recommend the pad king. Can be a bit too busy where seating and faster service can at times be an issue but overall...well worth the wait. This place is one of my top picks for the trip county area.
