Food was good and a good selection of drinks available. Seems a...very popular bar. Bearing in mind this was winter you will definitely need to book for food to be certain of a table.
Went here today with my Mum and Dad. Great pub in the heart of Bude town centre with friendly and professional staff and lovely food (I had the gammon). Highly recommended!!
A group of us happened to be in the area at lunchtime and stopped off for a bite to eat. We arrived just before it started to get busy and were accommodated quickly. There was a good menu choice of light bites and larger meals...and the staff were courteous and efficient. The food itself was delicious. Three of my friends opted for the Ploughman's which was nice to see as a traditional but less available option these days. They all commented on how large and delicious it was and were pleased about the absence of stilton in favour of tastier alternatives. The other two of us were after something lighter, opting for a pasty and fishcakes, both also delicious. The only drawback being here that they'd added balsamic dressing to the side salad and had he known, he would have asked to have it without as this rendered it inedible for him. Nonetheless there was a good choice of drinks too and we agreed we'd return again in future given the option.
We had a couple of meals at the Brendon Arms. The people were friendly and accommodating, food selection wide, quality high and portion sizes generous. With a relaxing atmosphere and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for.
This seems the most popular pub to eat wasn’t disappointed but can get rather busy in summer we went in October and was seated fine food was nice lovely place to sit outside
