Shanghai Lounge

I will not be coming back to this disaster of a restaurant. What happened? It used to be excellent. The food was terrible and the customer service was even worse. Stay away from this place at all costs.

I have always enjoyed this restaurant for its good food, but unfortunately it has recently gone downhill. I ordered two items for delivery for one person, only to find out that I would have to pay nearly an additional £5 for delivery. I decided to decline and asked someone I know to pick up the order instead, but they also declined as payment had to be made upon pick up. What difference does it make if the order is paid for in advance or upon pick up? It shouldn't be their loss if the order is paid for and not picked up. This experience was extremely disappointing, so I will now take my business and money elsewhere. Grrr!

We really enjoyed our takeout order. Everything was cooked beautifully and the dumplings were especially delicious. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

We ordered a selection of vegetarian dishes. Easy online ordering, prompt delivery and excellent food. Great flavours and not greasy. Would use again.

We always get our takeaways from here. Good food, served hot and cooked to our liking. The dishes with green peppers and black bean sauce are very popular with our family. I recommend that you collect rather than have a delivery. The drivers are always busy but I never wait more than 10 minutes to collect and I always order on arrival. For some reason the restaurant seated area is never busy (most people have takeaway I presume) but the food and service are just as good. I would strongly recommend Shanghai Lounge. It’s relatively easy to park outside as well after 6pm most nights.
