Wienerschnitzel - Corpus Christi

I enjoy the hot dogs, but they seriously lack in the chili department. I remember getting more chili on my dogs when they had the 5 for $5 deal, but now there just isn't enough. The fries are usually great when they're cooked crispy, but the last time, they were all soggy and greasy. I'll probably give them one more chance to see if they improve. Let's see what happens.

It's disappointing that this location doesn't offer ice cream. I was informed that the only place that has it is on Alameda and Roberts, but I'm not a fan of that spot. The last time I visited, they took my change (coins), and I haven't returned since. I definitely won't be going back there again.

I ordered a double cheeseburger, but it came with chili, which made quite a mess. Unfortunately, I couldn't return it since I was on my way back to San Antonio, and that was really disappointing. On top of that, the customer service was not great. My experience at the CalAllen location was entirely different during my visit there. But now, I find myself in Corpus.

I ended up paying $15 for a single meal, which feels excessive. To make matters worse, the woman at the window was quite rude. Before I could even respond, she interrupted me and reiterated the original total. She said "sorry," but honestly, it was a poor excuse for such disappointing customer service. Overall, my experience was very frustrating.

The chili cheese dog, jalapeño poppers, and cucumber lemonade make for an unbeatable quick lunch. It’s definitely one of my favorites!
