Contribuisci feedbackThis tea room is a wonderful example of traditional charm, situated in a beautiful setting. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Although we had to wait a bit for our food, it was worth it as everything was freshly prepared. This gave us the opportunity to soak in the atmosphere of this delightful little tea room, rather than rushing through our meal. The prices were also reasonable. We will certainly be coming back again in the future.
While other restaurants have closed for the winter, this tea room remains open to cater primarily to passing tourists. The staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome as we sought shelter during a rain shower. The menu offers basic tearoom fare, but the food was just average and the "side salad" consisting of lettuce, red onion, and a hard tomato was disappointing. If you're looking for a quick and unremarkable bite to eat, this place will suffice. However, if you prefer higher quality ingredients, it's best to search elsewhere.
We had lovely lunch The best lasagne I have had So nice to have a good service Even when they are run off their feet
Julia and staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn’t have to wait very long for our food which was cheese and mushroom omelette and a macaroni cheese. All cooked to perfection by Henry. This place is definitely worth a visit. Will certainly come again.
The breakfast at this restaurant is delicious and freshly prepared, costing around £10. The toasties are also very tasty. The restaurant is a bit cramped, but the staff is friendly and they welcome dogs.
