Darkside Of The Q - Cottage Grove

Fyi this restaurant has been out of business for at least 2 months. Not a good thing when you drive from Eugene just to eat their BBQ. You may want to close your Yelp account! Grrrrrrrr

The woman working the food truck was less than amused as I walked up, almost made me want to turn around and leave but we wanted to see how the food was, they were out of potato salad (one of the main dishes we wanted to try , the meat was dry, I ordered the cornbread waffle sandwich, it came with only one waffle and it was small and was buried under the meat and did not even come with a top piece (most sandwiches come with a top and bottom..... not impressed, will not be going back :

First off, the person working there did not seem happy to be there at all and please don't ask a question about the food! I had the meatloaf, cole slaw and cornbread waffle. The meatloaf was very dry and tough and felt like it had been sitting around for quite some time, the coke slaw was just some dressing squirted on top of the cabbage and the waffle was actually quite good with butter and honey. Probably won't be revisiting and couldn't recommend.

Loved the Brisket plate with potato salad and green chili cornbread waffle w/ honey! I really want to try the other sides too. The sweet and spicy sauce is perfect.Covered Bridge Brewing was the perfect place to spend a Wednesday evening
