The rice was overly seasoned, the mac and cheese tasted bland, and the frozen shrimp were served without any sauce. They even gave us a huge piece of yam, which felt quite random. To top it off, when we requested an additional empty foam plate, the woman replied, “Let me ask my boss.” Shaking my head.
The only minor issue I have is that they might want to turn the music down when answering the phones, so they can hear better. Other than that, my experience was fantastic! I ordered oxtails with mac and cheese and cauliflower, and everything was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned. Yes! This place is definitely worth a visit! I will continue to be a regular customer.
Instead of the oxtail entrée we ordered, we received a dark dinner of ruck huhn. When we called to ask if we could get a complimentary oxtail dish on our next visit, since we live 35 minutes away and only discovered the mistake after we got home, the woman we spoke to refused to acknowledge the error and asked us to bring the food back on our next trip. The management didn't handle the situation any better. I recommend checking your order carefully before leaving this location, as their customer service leaves much to be desired.
Rucksack and sauce I had! the soße is very authentic and in contrast to the busy jerk sauce serve many of the restaurants!
This was my first time trying this restaurant. My food was so good. The amount of food for the price was exceptional. The food was flavorful and tasty, but that cabbage and macaroni was to die for. I will be back real soon to try those rib tips.
