The food was delicious. I decided to try the brown stew chicken, which was offered as a lunch special for $5. The dish included a breast, bean, rice, and vegetables. I especially enjoyed the coconut milk flavor in the rice. The portion size was generous for the price. I also treated myself to the cassava cake, which I had never tried before and was pleasantly surprised by its delicious taste with bits of cod throughout. Overall, my dining experience was fantastic with wonderful flavors and reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning soon!
This restaurant serves authentic Bajan cuisine that is hard to come by in Atlanta. The menu offers a variety of dishes that would appeal to both Caribbean locals and non-natives alike. For a Bajan missing home, this place is a fantastic substitute! Everything is cooked to order and truly captures the essence of Bajan cuisine.
The restaurant offers Caribbean-influenced cuisine that reminded me of dishes from various Islamic countries I have visited around the world. In particular, the curry chicken dish tasted like it could have come from that region. The familiar and missed taste made it worth a visit.
