Cafe Blue Bamboo - Cowes

We found this on a walk on the Esplanade, sat inside out of the wind with great ocean view for our Breaky, Coffee was delicious and huge cups, food also delicious and abundant, good value and cooked superbly.

I love this Café. The food is fantastic. I frequently frequent Blue Bamboo and have never had a bad meal. No I don't own shares in the business, but they are generous to a fault with the size of their meals, their interest in their clients, the great cakes and coffee and then there's the view. Best location in Cowes, but unfortunately it is not clearly visible on the Esplanade. Do yourself a favour and find it. Very relaxed atmosphere.

We love this place and go here every few weeks over the last year. The food and cakes are delicious as it's all home made and the view is fantastic. The owners are very friendly. Highly recommend it.

My friends and I had breakfast at this place and the food was amazing. I had pancakes and it was covered in fresh fruit and the hot chocolates are to die for. My fiends appeared to enjoy their breakfasts. Catered for the littlies as well in 1/2 serve pancakes.

Their $4 coffees are fine except for the price tag but their food is very below average - how can a person ruin poached eggs on toast? The top of my toast was soggy (I think they only toasted one side) and there was no butter so my eggs were tasteless. I had to sprinkle my own salt onto my eggs and my toast to give it some taste. I would have asked for some butter but they're so slow there even though it's not busy. This place is best just to rush in for a coffee or to sit outside to people watch.
