Philip Island Bakery - Cowes

A must-visit! They offer a great variety of pies and pasties, and the pastries are amazing. My personal favorite is the French Vanilla, which is absolutely delicious. Just be sure to come hungry, as the portions are LARGE. There are plenty of other tasty treats available as well. If you can't find something you like, you're not looking hard enough! But don’t wait until late in the day to visit, as the most popular items can sell out quickly.

The Bakery has received a variety of reviews. As a newcomer, I decided to give it a shot. On my visit, I found the staff to be courteous and accommodating, and I was very pleased with both the pie and the pastie, which were excellent. The coffee was also very good in terms of flavor, although it was a bit cooler than I like. This temperature issue could easily be resolved by providing the staff with a milk thermometer, similar to what many places do even if they don't have a full-time barista.

Amazing bakery! They offer some unique meat pies, all of which are delicious. I tried the pizza pie, which is a meat pie topped with traditional pizza toppings—absolutely fantastic! The staff is great as well. Highly recommended!

On my search for Victoria's best pies, croissants and vanilla slice. All I can say is that I've had better. The croissant wasn't flakey or buttery enough. The custard inside the vanilla slice was gelatinous. And the pies were... Just ok. Great customer service, though.

Really good service, hot pies came out on trays galore as I was ordering. Food was yummy, service was great. Only negative was the long wait but we did happen to be there for lunch. Very good otherwise
